Biography

Donald Vincent Mahlmann, 66, of Bellville, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in Bellville, Texas. Don was born on January 22, 1944 to Walter and Mildred (Lacina) Mahlmann in Brenham, Texas. He married Margie King on February 25, 1968 in Bellville, Texas. Don served in the Army during the Viet Nam War, member of VFW Post 6522, St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and retired as a teacher and coach for the Bellville Independent School District.

He was preceded in death by his father Walter; son Christopher Joseph Mahlmann, grandson Conner Mahlmann, and brother-in-law, Butch Abel.

Don is survived by his wife Margie Mahlmann of Bellville, Texas. Sons; Adam Heath Mahlmann and wife Jennifer; and Matthew Alan Mahlmann and wife Whitney all of Bellville, Texas and Michael King Mahlmann and wife Jaclyn of Doha, Qatar. Mother; Mildred Lacina Mahlmann of Brenham, Texas. Mother and Father-in-law; Doris and Clarence King of Bellville, Texas. Brothers; Olan Mahlmann and wife Kay of Kerrville, Texas and Dennis Mahlmann and wife Rosemary of Brenham, Texas. Sisters-in-law; Sandy Abel of Bellville, Texas and Brenda and Philip Cutler of Houston, Texas.

Grandchildren; Adam Mahlmann, Jr., Sarah Mahlmann, Hayden Mahlmann, Lucy Mahlmann, Brandon Mahlmann, Christopher Alan Mahlmann, Spencer Mahlmann, and a number of nieces and nephews.
